Holbrook & the Shotley Peninsula

Holbrook Academy is located in the village of Holbrook, at the heart of the scenic Shotley Peninsula between the Orwell and Stour estuaries, just 15 minutes from Ipswich or Manningtree train stations.

The area offers a healthy, active lifestyle with sailing, cycling, tennis, horse-riding, and walking. Nearby Alton Water provides birdwatching, watersports, and trails. Much of the peninsula is owned by the National Trust and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, inspiring artists and craftspeople.

Our main intake comes from local primary schools in Holbrook, Chelmondiston, Shotley, Tattingstone, and Stutton, with additional students from Brantham, Bentley, Ipswich, and Manningtree.
